I can't open my Kindle for pc application. I have not had this problem before. I have been using the Kindle for pc program for more than 2 years on my pc without problems opening it. The program won't open from the desktop shortcut.
I have also tried to open the program directly under All Programs. I have also tried going directly into my C: drive and opening the program from there — after double-clicking to open or selecting open from right-click menu hour-glass pointer shows for few seconds, then disappears.
Nothing else happens, even if I wait for a considerable amount of time. I have tried this several times. I have shut-down and re-started my pc. Still no change. There is enough hard-disk space on my hdd so it should not be an overload issue. It does not appear that my pc has any virus - I have excellent virus protection. Why does my pc seem to not be responding? Was this reply helpful?
Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. One was for home at the other at work. I had been using the Kindle for PC for well over a year without any problems and then a few days ago both PCs gave me problems.
